E-Magazine

Digital media product:
E magazine

What is it used for?
The e-magazine is called Top Gear  e-magazine. This website is about cars, and gives the audience a detailed description about the car trying to sell it.

The elements used:
This text used is basic because it is better this way so the fancy fonts doesn't distract the audience from the cars and the details explaining the car specifications.

Also the main colours used are black and white. The background is white because most of the text is black, which means the text will stand out and grab your attention.

Interactivity:
This website is interactive because at the top of the website there is links, and when you click on it it links you to other sections of the website such as the review sections. Also there is links to YouTube videos of the cars which show you how the car runs.

Layout:
The layout is basic which is good so that is doesn't distract the audience from the purpose of the magazine. Also it wouldn't make the website look too fancy the audience will look at other images instead of the cars, which would make the magazine pointless.

Target audience:
The main target audience are young people because they like fast car, also car enthusiast. Furthermore boys would be more interested in the magazine because boys are usually more interested in fast and expensive cars that grab peoples attention a lot more then other cars.

Regulatory bodies:

Advantages:

The advantages of having regulatory bodies are that they help us know what kind of content there can be in a movie or any other type of media. For example it lets us know if the content has got any violence, swearing etc, and this is useful because there might be someone who does not want to view any of those things or if your kid was going to view this media you might not want them to see something that they might see. It also allows you to find what you are looking for easier because it would say what is included in the content.

Disadvantages:

The disadvantages of regulatory bodies is that the producers of any type of media might find it harder to create a product because they would have to make sure that they meet the regulatory bodies rules. Also they would have to make sure that the content they produce is for every type of audience so that everyone can enjoy the product.
